President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the newly elected President of South Korea, Yoon Suk-yeol.

Dear Mr. Yoon,

I sincerely congratulate you on your election to the post of President of the Republic of Korea.

I attach special importance to the developing friendly relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Korea. I believe that the cooperation in the fields of mutual interest between our countries, which will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year, will continue to develop and expand with our joint efforts for the welfare of our peoples.
