Azerbaijani gymnasts win another bronze at World Championships in Baku

Representing Azerbaijan, the male duo Daniel Abbasov and Murad Rafiyev won the bronze medal with 27,500 points at the 28th FIG Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships held in Baku. Flow reports.

The gymnasts took third place in the tempo workout program.

In the tempo study, Braiden McDougall and Angel Felix (28,180 points) representing the USA took the first place among male couples, followed by Vadim Shulyar and Daniel Dil (28,030 points) from Kazakhstan.

On the second day of the competition, Daniel Abbasov and Murad Rafiyev won the “bronze” in the combined exercise.

The 28th FIG Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships will be held from March 10-13 at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.

170 gymnasts from 17 countries participate in the championship, which was held for the first time in Baku.

Women’s, mixed and men’s couples, women’s and men’s groups exhibit balance, tempo and combined exercises in the competitions.
